Frequency of Publication

Since 2021, the Journal of Communication and Health has adopted a continuous publication model, under which articles are published individually as soon as they successfully complete all stages of the editorial process. This model eliminates traditional periodicity and replaces it with a single annual volume (running from January to December), in which all articles corresponding to the current year are progressively grouped until the declared quota is reached (10 articles per year).

Once the annual publication quota established by the journal has been reached, accepted articles in their final version will be incorporated into the "Ahead of prints” section (publicly and permanently accessible) until the official start of the editorial year to which the corresponding volume is assigned, at which point they will be integrated into the current/active volume.
