Contributions types

Revista de Comunicación y Salud has three sections:

“Research Articles”: These present original and unpublished research findings and follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Discussion), in accordance with the guidelines for authors wishing to publish in Revista de Comunicación y Salud. These contributions (research articles) are evaluated and decided upon through a double-blind peer review process.

“Review Articles”: This section comprises publications that provide an up-to-date, critical, and evaluative analysis based on the study of existing scientific literature on a specific research problem. Under no circumstances should these be uncritical compilations of published studies; rather, they must offer a novel state of the art on the topic addressed, making exhaustive and rigorous use of the relevant bibliography.
For article submissions, the following template must be used.

“Reviews”: This section publishes book reviews. Reviews must have a title different from that of the book reviewed, include full bibliographic details (publisher, ISBN, number of pages, foreword author, DOI, etc.), and be accompanied by a scanned cover image (.gif or .jpg). Reviews of books published more than three years prior will not be accepted. The following template must be used.

A maximum length of 500 words is stipulated for this type of contribution.
